Uzbekistan has successfully passed the ICAO audit. Experts of the international organization conducted a comprehensive audit to assess the operation of the flight safety system in Uzbekistan and issued a positive conclusion.

As part of the planned audit, from May 17 to May 29 of this year, the ICAO audit group conducted a scheduled inspection of the flight safety status, as well as compliance with the requirements of standards by the Ministry of Transport, the Uzaviation Agency, Uzhydromet, the Uzaeronavigation Center, Uzbekistan Airways JSC, Panorama Airways LLC, UTC of Uzbekistan Airways JSC and LLC "Tashkent International Airport named after I.Karimov".

According to the results of the audit in the civil aviation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, nonconformities related to the category of significant concern in the field of flight safety (SSC) were not identified.

The overall efficiency indicator of the implementation of ICAO standards in Uzbekistan is 64%, which is a good indicator compared to other states that have passed a full audit.

This audit is one of the most important objective means of assessing the organization of the flight safety system in the field of civil aviation.

The final report on the audit results will be submitted by November 15, 2023 and published on the ICAO's official website.
