The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has successfully completed a project to prioritize gender aspects in Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC. Within the framework of the project, detailed information was provided in a number of schools about the possibilities of rail transport and marketing initiatives to attract young women studying STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Thanks to this project, more women have gained access to education and employment in the field of railway transport.
