On August 8, 2023, a round table on the topic "Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan: new horizons of cooperation" was held in Baku, where representatives of the Ministry of Transport participated with the program "Mutual relations in the field of transport and logistics are priorities of bilateral relations".

It is important to note that during the meeting, the Ministry of Transport proposed the introduction of an electronic exchange of permit forms "E-Permit" between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, which will facilitate cargo transportation by road and exchange preliminary information, as well as work on the construction of warehouse infrastructure in the port of Baku, construction and repair of railway rolling stock of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan.

The parties also agreed to develop a joint roadmap for the further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of transport and logistics for 2023-2024.
