The Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilhom Makhkamov met with the Commercial Director of the Polish airline "LOT Polish airlines" Mikhail Fiyol.
At the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation in the field of civil aviation, establishing air traffic between the two countries were discussed. An exchange of views also took place on studying the experience of LOT Polish airlines in the field of cargo and passenger transportation.
During the meeting, the Minister of Transport I. Makhkamov gave detailed information on the ongoing reforms in the field of civil aviation in Uzbekistan, work on the effective organization of transformation processes at the enterprises of the industry.
It was also noted that JSC "Uzbekistan airways" is developing a plan to introduce flights to Warsaw in the winter schedule, and proposals were made to expand cooperation with "LOT Polish airlines" in the field of cargo and passenger traffic in this direction.
In turn, M. Fiyol positively accepted this proposal and expressed his readiness to provide practical assistance in further expanding cooperation in accordance with the Code Share and SPA agreements between Uzbekistan Airways JSC and LOT Polish airlines.
During the meeting, LOT Polish airlines got acquainted with the activities of the Flight Control Center and useful programs.
