Locomotive depot “Uzbekistan” was formed in 1977 and to this day carries out repairs of locomotives and its locomotives carry out transportation of goods of the national economy and passenger trains. In connection with the professional holiday of railway workers on August 3, 2023, the grand opening of the locomotive repair shop of the locomotive depot “Uzbekistan” and the assembly part of the administrative building took place.

To date, the main depot has branches such as Angren, Chukursai, Havos, Marakand, Jizzakh, as well as the Afrosiyob high-speed Electric Train Service Center. The company performs the tasks of repair and technical inspection of locomotives and electric locomotives, preparation of locomotives for flight and repair of their mechanisms and components.
