On July 24 of this year, Ilkhom Makhkamov received representatives of the EBRD at the Ministry of Transport on the implementation of the Tashkent-Samarkand toll road construction project based on public-private partnership.

To develop a feasibility study of this project, the EBRD hired the company Proyapı Mühendislik ve Müşavirlik A.Ş. The cost of developing a feasibility study was 1.5 million. US dollars at the expense of grant funds.

During the meeting, issues related to the acceleration of the development of a feasibility study of the project and the organization of tender processes to determine a private partner were discussed.
