On August 14, 2023 a meeting was organized at the Ministry of Transport with the participation of the political and economic department of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan and representatives of the Trade Central Asia direction of the USAID project.

The meeting highlighted the important role of transport and logistics in ensuring sustainable economic growth and prosperity through the development of international trade between Europe and Asia.

In this regard, the parties discussed the possibilities of developing intermodal and multimodal cross-border and transit transport services between Central Asia and the European Union, creating new forms of interaction along the Trans-Caspian Corridor.
