At present, a delegation headed by the Minister of Transport Ilhom Makhkamov visited the 
Republic of Korea. On the first day of the business trip, 
the Minister visited the Transport Information Service (TOPIS) established under the 
Seoul City Government and got acquainted with the operational management of the city's 
transportation system, pilot projects of unmanned vehicles, as well as the ability 
to analyze traffic and road information on real time.

During the visit, it is planned to get acquainted with a wide range of reforms carried 
out in the field of public transport in Seoul, in particular, with the introduced bus 
corridors (BRT) in the city, the integrated electronic payment system (T-Money), the 
“Pool” system in the distribution of revenues between carriers, conditions created 
for vulnerable segments of the population in the infrastructure of public transport.

Today, work continues on reforming the public transport system of the city of Tashkent 
based on new approaches with the participation of foreign experts studying the 
experience of developed countries. It is in this process, based on the experience 
of South Korea, that it is supposed to implement the most optimal solutions for the 
development of urban transport infrastructure.
