On July 15, 2023 Uzbekistan Airways began the exploitation of a new aircraft LET L-410 for short-distance flights at affordable prices. The LET L-410 route network considers the directions along which air traffic was suspended decades ago.

The LET L-410 aircraft is designed to carry up to 19 passengers with a landing on almost any type of runways with a length of 510 meters, and will also be able to provide flights with a range of up to 1,500 kilometers. On July 20, the first flight on the Tashkent - Samarkand – Tashkent route is scheduled. The cost of one-way tickets starts from 104,000 soums.
